Pathophysiology Prep Presentation #1- 2019

Presentation done in Calgary (LDV pizza) on Febraury 9th 2019 in front of 21 students with the following objectives:

Review the structure of the CDE exam Compare and contrast normal glucose metabolism and the abormal glucose metabolism associated with diabetes
Describe challenges, such as hypoglycemia, associated with basal insulin initiation and optimization
Evaluate the pharmacokinetics, pathophysiology, safety and efficacy of new basal insulins

This was my first time using the software to record my presentation. I didn’t notice it was pointed at my chest the entire time and the sound is a bit blurry so sorry about that. The next video will be better.

Make sure you check out the How to Study section. To practice for the exam, try out the free quizzes section.  If you found those helpful then consider purchasing a Practice Exam simulation in the Purchase section. They will improve your confidence and pass rate while lowering your stress and the amount of time you need to study.  You will pass or you get your money back! Please see the Purchase page for details.
