Below is the pre-conference workshop I attended during the national conference in Edmonton. The presenters were excellent. I would highly recommend the pre-conference workshop if the national conference is in your city.

At the end of the “Building Competency: The Essentials” there is an exam that you can mail in to Diabetes Canada to be marked. The paper copies are no longer sold and the book can only be purchased as a 1 year digital subscription at:

https://orders.diabetes.ca/products/copy-of-buy-a-banting-house-brick-2

It is not necessary to pass the exam but if you are looking for additional reading it’s a good resource.

Unfortunately due to COVID-19 there have been large staff cuts to Diabetes Canada. If you would like to make a donation to Diabetes Canada click here. I had emailed my 5th edition Building Competency exam to be marked in April 2020 and I still haven’t got my exam back yet. So I emailed them for an Answer Key so I could mark the test myself.  I wanted to share it below as I feel the wait time is unreasonable.

If you want to try an interactive quiz of the Quiz that is at the end of Building Competency: The Essentials, please click below.
