April 5- Updating the How to Study Pages

I am currently updating the How to Study pages so they may not work properly until the end of the day. Due to increased number of users some of the documents weren’t loading so I have seperated the How to Study page into different sections. Normal functionality should be restored by the end of the day. I have also put a limit on the number of packages being sold to preserve bandwidth and server capacity.

March 9- Referral Reminder

Hello everyone, a reminder that for every 5 new people you refer who buy something on the website you get a free package C ($99.99 value) for yourself or a friend. When you have referred someone you will get a email notification with “you have referred x out of 5 people”. For people purchasing a package please put the name and email (if available) of the person who referred you so I can send them an email notification. Lately people have been putting “friend” or “colleague” in the referral line. I am a pharmacist not a mind reader so I would greatly appreciate if you put who referred you.

Feb 27- Exam writers from last year upgrading to Package D

Hello everyone, Package D came out this year. If you purchased a Package C last year and had to postpone the exam to this year due to COVID you can upgrade. Just purchase a new Package D (make sure you use the existing members options since you already have a package or you can just use a new email) then email me and i’ll refund your Package C. I’ve had a couple of requests and just wanted to let you know it can be done.

Feb 14- New insulin delivery video

Hello everybody, the U of A pharmacy students missed some of their labs on insulin due to COVID.  A class rep reached out to me to create a video to make up for the missed labs and I have posted it on YouTube. It’s a short video on insulin delivery methods mostly but some of the content could come in handy for the exams. You can find it under the video presentations tab.

Feb 13- Added a study guide on the Diabetes Canada Position Statement on Low-Carbohydrate Diets for Adults With Diabetes

Hello everyone

Due to the humongous popularity of low carbohydrate diets I have decided to add a study guide on Diabetes Canada Position Statement on Low-Carbohydrate Diets for Adults With Diabetes. It may show up on the exam as it came out in 2020. Please see the chapter by chapter study guide at https://cdestudycourse.com/guidelines-chapter-study-guide/ for more details.
